I didn’t want to bring in the Rehteah Parsons case, but it is interesting. Somehow, I had an inkling that it wasn’t as straightforward as it seems.
My verdict? Yet more over-hyped nonsense, where everyone has had a knee-jerk reaction without knowing the facts.
When all this came out, Carol Todd of course leapt on the bandwagon, because she said there were similarities. And of course, there were, in that most of the story had been embellished. Congratulations to Christie Blatchford for reporting this story properly:
I also include another link to a thread. An interesting comment about Carol Todd and the Legacy Fund:
And finally, yet another ‘poor Amanda’ post – I have commented, of course:
When are people going to stop being fooled? There are people out there who know whats going on, and I’m glad that I’m not the only one who can see all this. Note that in the comments at wivb, there is a hint that people were trying to warn Amanda off, something I’ve suggested here. And on the thread, there is the proposal that Carol Todd is gaining from the Legacy Fund. Perhaps some people are cleverer than I thought.
So don’t be fooled. Learn the facts.
