“I was shocked by the ease with which Tallulah and other children can access on line self harm and suicide blogs.  Tallulah entered a world where the lines between fantasy and reality became blurred. It is every parent’s worst nightmare.”

The court heard how her mother – who the jury described as a “normal caring parent” – shut down her blog after realising its contents.However, a psychiatrist who spoke to the troubled schoolgirl said Tallulah felt her personality had been “deleted” and “part of her life had been stamped out”. Six days later, on October 14, 2012, she was hit by the First Capital Connect train at St Pancras.

    The girl escaped into her online world so far she couldn’t deal with it being taken away? Parents really need to get educated on what exactly is going on with their kids on the net.
