Magaluf girl

Hello Daddy, hello Mom
I’m your ch ch ch ch ch cherry bomb
Hello world, I’m your wild girl
I’m your ch ch ch ch ch cherry bomb

Obviously, with the Syria/Iraq crisis, Palestinian/Israeli murders, terrorist threats, mountains of dodgy debt, people resorting to food handouts in the UK, there’s only one thing really important to get your knickers in a twist about, and that’s Magaluf girl.

After months of this blog, there’s not that much about humanity that can depress me any more. I have cultivated a ‘who gives a shit’ approach now. If half a million teens chucked themselves off a cliff in some sort of mass hysteria sacrifice to Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus, I wouldn’t give a shit. If teens choose to shag themselves to death, drink themselves to death or whatever themselves to death, no shits will be given. It’s just pointless.

Magaluf girl gets a mention in this blog simply based on her utter stupidity, and a certain amount of relevance to those saintly creatures Parsons and Todd. I won’t go down the path of what-the-fuck-have-we-come-to and how I begin to believe that very soon we’ll be subjected to some sort of Wrath of God reckoning, and you can look up Magaluf girl. However, I will quote this from the Independent:

http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/its-not-technology-thats-to-blame-for-the-magaluf-girl-video–its-binge-culture-9587845.html

‘Of course there is hypocritical “slut shaming” behind both “Magaluf” and “Slane”. Why no “Slane Boy” outrage? Why are the 24 foolish Magaluf boys who happily dropped their pants  “lads” not “slags”? And, of course there is the hypocrisy of being exposed by The Sun a page before Page 3. But…

Blaming the media is a lazy, knee-jerk alternative to taking personal responsibility. In what societal universe is fellating 24 boys for a holiday acceptable? If it’s “unfair” that someone filmed and shared it on social media, don’t put yourself in the position of inviting such humiliation. If drink is to blame, don’t drink so much.’

There will be the the usual Press hulaballoo. What’s not to like about Magaluf girl? People will argue she is just a liberated young woman, people will blame the Horrendous Males in society, people will say she should be shamed and shunned, people will say she shouldn’t be shamed and shunned. Make your mind up. Personally, I think she was an angelic picture of innocence who was probably held down by ruffians and forced to imbibe copious amounts of alcohol before being cruelly forced into sex acts of the worst kind, and she should be seen as an inspirational example of mistreated womanhood. She definitely was not a dumbass cum bucket.

If Max Clifford was still around (he was indeed a very respectable member of society, now in prison) she would be making a small fortune from temporary celebrity. My guess is that we haven’t heard the last of her.

Meanwhile, back in the real world……..
