Sorry about the jpg. Just click on it.

This is Amanda Todd on BlogTV.

As you will see, the capture is from December 5th, 2010. That’s ten days after ‘cutieelover’ aka Amanda Todd joined BlogTV. What she did, or where she was prior to that, I don’t know at the moment. This is eighteen days before the police arrived on her doorstep on December 23rd.

Note that the BlogTV rules are absolutely clear. I have criticised BlogTV (now YouNow) for allowing things, but to give them credit, they were quite clear about the rules, and very quick to ban people who broke them. There is no real excuse for not knowing that nudity was frowned upon. As we know, cutiielover was banned twelve days later.

Amanda is quite well-known. It is possible that, from the commencement of her membership of BlogTV on November 26th, she could have received quite a following – reputations grow fast online.

Note: this may not be the full online conversation for December 5th. I originally thought that this might be the beginning of it all, but it is possible that there were earlier comments.

The first comment available is a cordial ‘sexy’. The second comment from cutieelover is – well, what? – poignant? Could that be the word? I don’t know. Or it could just be straightforward. Who can tell?

‘im not like that anymore’

What can anyone read into this? It sounds quite forlorn, like she’s realised something, and has decided to stop. On it’s own, it sounds like it’s a finality, but, sadly, we know that just a few days later she was flashing again, and that this behaviour continued on for quite some time. Can we deduce any period of time from this? Like I said – and I hope – her reputation might have simply grown in the previous two weeks, but I retain a slight idea that these are the words of someone who has been quite known for some time. But that is irrelevant, really.

It looks like one of her fans issues a ‘sigh’ of disappointment. Or of shared sadness?

I guess that the next comment is from someone new to the room: ‘what were u like’.  The answer is horrible.

‘a slut’.

The newbie answers a plaintive and shocked ‘oh’. Someone posts a picture.

‘lol….i kinda like sluts’ – seen as positive feedback?

The newbie asks her what made her change her mind.

‘idk why’ is Kon*** basically answering his own statement two lines above.

Another person enters the room.

Dun*** writes: ‘she is a slut she still is 1’. How is that meant? How is that taken? A joke? An insult? Horrifyingly aggressive male words? Or teen nonsense?

And then we have it:

‘all my friends found my pic’

Not ‘I’ve been stalked’. Not ‘I’ve been blackmailed’. All her friends found her pic.

There is a lot of grief in this – not just for the main participants, but for those other, more innocent victims of the witch hunts, the hatred, the suspicions. And for all those people from all across the world, all those genuine people, all those kids who have cried about this, it’s a terrible shame.

We have – and it saddens me to say this – been severely tricked and misled.

The details I have posted today are true.

The next comment is from someone new to the room: ‘what were u like’.  The answer is horrible.

‘a slut’

What in God’s name would make a girl say this? It is actually Amanda herself who first uses the term to describe her own behaviour.

There are two reasons why she should have said this. The first is quite a cold-hearted suggestion; the second is gut-wrenchingly sad. I would prefer to choose the first. It kills me more to choose the second.

The first reason: Amanda is relatively proud of being seen as a slut. It’s a sort of show-off, attention-seeking phrase – ‘Look at me! I’m a slut! I’m not a mundane nobody, I’m someone who boys queue up to see! I’m the centre of attention, and that makes me feel important!’

Look at the news. We live in a society where sluttish behaviour makes you rich and famous. You know the names, I have no need to make a list. Reality TV praises the slut, denigrates the nice people. Look at the magazines aimed at later teens, read by 12-year-olds. In the UK, it’s ‘Nuts’ and ‘Zoo’. And those idiotic cretins who invented ‘slut walks’ – be proud that you look like a slut! Have they ANY idea what they are doing? (OK, reader, I’ll get down off my soap box)

Like so many words these days, slut has lost its meaning. It’s tossed around school playgrounds as easily as the old words like ‘fatty’ and ‘foureyes’.

The second reason: Amanda might have had such low self-esteem that she had become used to calling herself a slut. Why she would do this, I don’t know. From family background, I would guess the origin lay elsewhere. There are plenty of vile parents who will destroy their kids’ self-worth, but I don’t see that here. If anything, it might have been the opposite from her parents – they might have built her ego up to massive  proportions.

So why would she tag herself a slut? Did she go online, get naked, expect to get praise but get called a slut? Did she find that the only way to get the BlogTV viewers interested was to behave like a slut? It is extraordinary how dependent kids are on online feedback, and we know that Amanda was addicted to it.

Another, less probable but viable view is this: we know that Amanda possibly suffered from learning difficulties. She may well have had a huge sense that she was, in some way, a disappointment and failure. She had tried desperately to publicise herself online and elsewhere – singing, cheerleading – but it looks like the only thing she, as a person, felt that she truly excelled at, and that got her the attention, was to be a slut.

I must move on. The newbie answers a plaintive and shocked ‘oh’.

‘lol….i kinda like sluts’

The newbie asks her what made her change her mind.

‘idk why’ is Kon*** basically answering his own statement two lines above.

Not ‘I’ve been blackmailed’.

All her friends found her pic.

To me, this proves that the blackmail case is now closed. She said this to cover herself. There WAS a lot of stuff going on a la Peyton Ramsey, and it’s all very convoluted. But you can strike ‘blackmail’ and ‘stalker’ from the notebook for now.

As soon as one thing seems to get resolved, something else crops up that turns a lot of the story upside down again. There is a lot of grief in this – not just for the main participants, but for those other, more innocent victims of the witch hunts, the hatred, the suspicions. And for all those people from all across the world, all those genuine people, all those kids who have cried about this, it’s a terrible shame.

We have – and it saddens me to say this – been severely tricked.  I thought that  I would be jumping for joy as I learned that more and more of what I was saying was coming true, but instead I’m simply becoming more disheartened.

The details I have posted today are true. I will seek to evaluate them as clinically and as precisely as I possibly can. At first, I was just tempted to post the screen cap and leave it up to readers to make up their own minds. But, as usual, I will try to analyse what is behind all of this.

I guess that the next comment is from someone new to the room: ‘what were u like’.  The answer is horrible.

‘a slut’

What in God’s name would make a girl say this? Here are some attempts to explain, but first let me say that it is significant and important. It points strongly towards why so many people used the word ‘slut’ to describe her – it’s the term she has applied to herself. It is actually Amanda herself who first uses the term to describe her own behaviour. People would have read these comments, and no doubt her friends would have heard her say it.

There are two reasons why she should have said this. The first is quite a cold-hearted suggestion; the second is gut-wrenchingly sad. I would prefer to choose the first. It kills me more to choose the second.

Like so many words these days, slut has lost its meaning. It’s tossed around school playgrounds as easily as the old words like ‘fatty’ and ‘foureyes’. There is a distinct possibility that Amanda uses the term ‘slut’ as a badge of distinction.

The second reason: Amanda might have had such low self-esteem that she had become used to calling herself a slut. Why she would do this, I don’t know. Again, I have contacted Amanda’s local police force. And again, they will do nothing to protect innocent citizens.

It would appear that you are ignoring my communications.

It is obvious that there never was a stalker who sent round one photo.

To help you with your detective work, I attach the following link:
https://philipjrose.wordpress.com/2013/04/26/the-story-takes-yet-another-bizarre-twist/

Here, you will see that on December 5th, Amanda knew that all her friends found the pictures. On the 17th December, she was banned from BlogTV. I have captured the very instant that occurred. You went round on December 23rd.

And no – the chatlog is not faked, it’s not been photo-shopped, it’s real. And just in case you don’t know, Amanda Todd was cutiielover.

So it’s time you and others told the truth. That’s the least we can expect from a police force. All you need to do is to reiterate that Kody Maxson is innocent, and that there was no stalker involved. Is that too much to ask? Should you still doubt the veracity of my claims, I have a lot more evidence, but surely you are aware of that.

I expect no reply, but I will conclude by telling you that this email, like the others, has been published. Should you be thinking of taking any further steps to silence me, I can tell you that I welcome every opportunity to put forward my case.

Thanks once again for your attention.

The ‘cutiielover’ (Amanda Todd) chatlog – continued

cutiielover6

Welcome, everyone, to the continuing Amanda Todd story.

The emotional roller-coaster continues. I have received positive feedback which was very encouraging, but sadly one or two nasty people are continuing to harass. Not me, which I can take quite easily, but people who have posted here and elsewhere supporting some of what I am saying. There is not a lot I can do about it. They are so firmly steeped in their malice and hatred that the rules of common sense and rationality escape them.

Just for information. I am Philip Rose, a name I had to use to cover my identity to stop any of the harassers involving any of my family and friends. That is the ONLY identity I currently have, though I have used others in the past. There are innocent people being persecuted by certain individuals, either because they have commented here or on my Facebook page. There has been one example of a person who was threatened by the Amanda Todd supporters simply for being seen as possibly being me.

To me, I find it slightly disturbing that, in a story that involves the terrible effects of cyber-bullying, the Amanda Todd supporters have resorted to terrible accusations against certain people who are completely innocent. I won’t name names here, but representatives from ‘Amanda Todd’s Safe Haven’ and from the ‘Amanda Todd Reporting Team’ have launched scurrilous attacks against certain people, simply for expressing an opinion. Up until yesterday, although I was angered by it all, I had almost grown weary of it. But now, it appears that the Amanda Todd supporters just don’t have any limits.

From time to time I have sunk low enough to try to deal with the harassment by responding with similar activities. There are times when it is much easier to treat it like a joke. Personally, I don’t care what people say or do concerning me. To a certain extent, I’m in the fight and deserve the consequences. And also to a certain extent, some of the victims of harassment are mature enough to deal with it themselves. But the latest victim was a step too far. This has to stop. One last thing though, before I continue with today’s post: the personal attacks from the Amanda Todd supporters on innocent people for voicing an opinion just shows them up for what they are – spiteful hypocrites.

Note: I have contacted the RCMP today.

So – on with today’s post.

This is a continuation of the chatlog that has featured in the previous days. It is from December 17th, 2010 (Canada time). Cutiielover (aka Amanda Todd) controls the room, and most of the comments are  for her, to which she gives verbal responses. Most of what is going on is self-evident, but I will provide notes.

152 viewers means that there are moderators in the room. Amanda is warned – ‘DON GET BANNED’. She is on BlogTV probation. She is warned not to continue.

The discussion, started earlier, about whether she is shaved or not, continues. She is encouraged to prove it. Pictures available online show that she has exposed herself in this way.

There’s a reference to another girl. There is another warning: ‘DONT SHOW ANYTHING’. This is hardly the enticement Amanda mentions in her video.

Maybe the suggestion is to move to TinyChat because it’s safer.  Amanda was also on TinyChat.

Sky**** knows she is about to get banned. He suggests ‘i have a room you can use don’t get banned’

I think the next few comments are about the other girl someone has mentioned.

cris*** writes: ‘show your shaved?????’ Oh dear. Amanda truly is in a cesspit.

you**** writes: ‘more viewers = more chance of ban’. The people in the room know that either the moderators will issue a ban, or that some undercover people will report it.

The rest of the chat needs no commentary.

What can we learn from this? Many things. I will seek to explain in another post soon. However, the blackmail story, the story of enticement or of coercion, the predator-pedophile story – these are all dead. Amanda Todd was a liar. That is a fact that many people must become used to.

I half-believe that Amanda was aided and abetted during the making of her video. I believe that someone – maybe her mother, or maybe her therapists (she was in hospital at the time) – thought that it would be a good idea to publish what is, essentially, a made-up story designed to get Amanda off the hook. And I believe that the processes necessary to try to keep such a set of lies going may have contributed to Amanda’s depression. She would have been attacked – yet again – by the people who knew the truth.

But I will go into that in more detail in upcoming posts. Meanwhile, I just ask her die-hard supporters: surely you now know you have been tricked?

The ‘cutiielover’ chatlog – Part Two for today

cutiielover4

This is a continuation of yesterday’s post, which showed the first part of this chatlog. To bring you up to speed – this is from December 17th, 2010 (December 18th GMT) – a few weeks after Amanda Todd first registered on BlogTV as ‘cutiielover’, and six days before the police turned up on their dawn raid on Amanda’s home. Amanda is communicating by speaking with her viewers, so I have to guess what is being said. However, the chatlog doesn’t need too much interpretation. I will be more hasty today, and try to provide two excerpts before wrapping it up  tomorrow. Thank you for your patience.

The first comment says ‘out of focus’, implying that Amanda might be trying to expose herself. This opinion is enforced by the next comment:

‘can we see spome more of your cut eunderwear’ (of course, cute, not cut, as the write correct himself two lines down).

Someone says she needs 150 to fill the room. There is an explanation of this in a comment on yesterday’s post. What is relevant here is that we can tell that at this point Amanda has 139 viewers. That does not tie in with her story of being cajoled by a lone predator.

The next part of the chatlog is difficult to decipher. I have thought about it, and I think it would be unfair of me just to guess.

Someone says: ‘then you wiil get a waiting room for sure’. I believe that this would be in a response to something said by Amanda that would hint that she will do something at a certain point. I have received and read feedback from various sources that Amanda would often wait until she had a certain amount of viewers before she would display herself. That’s a harsh truth.

The chatlog excerpt finishes with a reference to what has been seen as possibly an even more notorious channel controlled by Amanda: her ‘isabella100555’ YouTube channel. Here, she used to put videos of herself singing and playing guitar but, unfortunately, she also produced videos of her and her friends up to no good. It is also thought that she was confident enough to show videos of herself and her friends smoking marijuana. The channel was later taken down.

So now we are on to the second part of today’s chatlog.

cutiielover5

This chatlog takes a different turn. There is a warning that there is a ‘mod’ (moderator) in the room. Basically, that could mean, if the mod was decent, that the room was being watched and Amanda would run the risk of getting banned. However, not all mods were good, and I am highly suspicious that some of them might have been Cappers, and possibly fed through to cameracaptures and other sites.

I have no idea what ‘FLAGGED 4 PILLOW’ means.

The conversation is getting far more risky. Really, all of this just blows my mind. I find it difficult to describe? Feral? Primeval? Amoral? Immoral?

‘we should check your hot ass’ – hardly the way that Amanda describes her enticement by a predator in her video. It’s not exactly having funtime talk with friends. Amanda was fully aware of the fervour surrounding her every move. To be honest, she’s playing this room like a pro. However much I would like to make excuses, or to explain, Amanda knew what she was doing. Later on in the chat, she is warned NOT to go ahead, but she does so. And months later, when she was warned that if she didn’t stop someone would tell the police AGAIN, she still didn’t stop. After receiving her ban – maybe 10-15 minutes after this chat – she made the effort to return as ‘Announcing Amanda’. Internet addiction.

Someone asks if she is going to show again when he/she gets on. A stab in the dark – perhaps Amanda was waiting for a regular ‘friend’.

There are 151 viewers. The MOD warning goes up again.

This room is going downhill fast. Amanda is asked to pull down her pjs, just not to show any bush. That would mean instant ban.

‘she is shaved’ – Good grief! This room is now a cesspit. Amanda is now engaged in a discussion about whether she is shaved or not. Car*** refers to unshaven as ‘carpet’.

Amanda seems to be putting up some resistance to flashing any more than her breasts, but she is urged on by the crowd.

(Note: I am confused about when Amanda really did things online. It is possible that Amanda had already showed more online before – masturbating and flashing on TinyChat. However, I had assumed that those videos came much later – in 2011. But the police dawn raid on December 23rd would not have been over one photo, and I guess that simple flashing would not have provoked such a response.)

The rest of what is said is obvious. We are left with the opinion that two mods are now in the room. I will return to the final excerpt from this chatlog tomorrow. We’ve seen enough for today.

Just what did Amanda Todd do?

cutieelover2

This is not going well at all, if I’m honest. This blog has not gone the way I wanted it to, in many respects. As far as I know, only a very small percentage of viewers are concerned about what happened, and a few are simply vicious, wicked trouble-makers, out to bully people who come to this blog and make comments.

However, I shouldn’t be too dismayed. My hope with this blog was that it would turn into a dialogue – that has, to a certain extent, failed. I hoped that a few people might find help – a few people have. And, from my blog records, it looks like complaints about her video have been made – maybe something good will come from that. I haven’t particularly become a better person – depending on how tired or angry I get, I am prone to mischief-making and outbursts of aggression, which I feel guilty about later. I feel, sometimes, that I let down my more sensible readers, for which I apologise.

But it’s not all bad. The blog was also intended to be a sort of personal diary – a conversation with myself, setting down all the conflicts that were in my  head and trying to reach a conclusion. I wouldn’t really have been worried if no-one else read it. (The fact that now I get concerned about whether I get 100 views a day or 1000 is neither here nor there now. LOL)

So let’s continue with today’s information. Firstly, let me say again that I believe this to be true. Most of the fakers in the story are either too amateur, too obvious, or too stupid. If I or anyone else was trying to fake things, I would do a lot better job of it! I am a worrier, and it has gone through my mind that this is all part of an elaborate plot to make me look like a fool. Or it’s an even more elaborate plot to put me off the real story. But simply standing back and clearing my mind, all of this makes a lot more sense than the rest of the story. It’s easy to grab hold of information and make it fit, or present it in such a way that it fits an agenda. But my readers, I hope, can make up their own minds. So let me state once again – the information in yesterday’s post and in the following posts is true. Make of it what you will. So on with today’s screen cap. It is a continuation of the December 5th conversation, shown yesterday.

The first statement, I guess, may be from a hero in the room.  I could guess that the commenter is called ‘Spirit***’. But the comment is irrelevant.

From Dun***: ‘she bated on cam to ppl’.

Just in case, ‘bated’ is an abbreviation meaning ‘masturbated’. This is confusing. If it’s true, it shows that Amanda really was in it up to her neck. It also causes me concern, because I think it might be referring to the ‘black top’ pictures of Amanda, which I thought were from much later. But it could also be just a bit of mischief – ‘Dun***’ could just be trying to annoy, and make it look like he knows what is going on. However, Amanda doesn’t reply to deny it.

Amanda’s next comment as cutiielover: ‘and sent my boobs out to everyone in my city’ is a continuation of her previous statement that her friends found her pictures. So we have the scene: Amanda’s friends have found her pictures, and, of course, now half the town has seen them. The news would have spread like wildfire. But remember – the blackmailing story is dead in the water.

Many people online have said that it didn’t matter what Amanda did, it was all down to the blackmailer/stalker/predator. Now we know that this person never existed in the way she described. We are now beginning to see that maybe the rest of the story is false, too.

Dun*** continues his statement that Amanda bated with ‘other nite’ which would make sense. Kon***, in a world of his own, continues to talk to himself about why he likes sluts. Dun*** writes: ‘slut’. I don’t think this is the first time Amanda has heard that word but remember – it is possible that she doesn’t take this as an insult.

I believe I know who Zap*** is. There is a strong possibility that he is a double agent type – he comes into a room pretending to be nice and friendly, but might be a Capper. ‘Hey Cutie, whats up?’

Cra** writes: ‘oh daaamn’. This is his response to the revelation that Amanda’s friends have found her pictures. Dun*** continues with his annoyance: ‘still a slut’.

Jak*** asks: ‘are they still ur friend’ to which Amanda/cutiielover answers a firm ‘no’.

At this point, if everything ceased now, one would have to feel sorry for Amanda. She sounds like she is upset, and she knows she is possibly in deep trouble. But, as we know, she is back a few days later, still flashing.

Rumour time: there have been heavy hints that Amanda appeared in pictures smoking a joint. There is evidence to show that this is likely, but I have found only hearsay stuff. If she is in a state of mental confusion, smoking weed will have created a situation where her worries would have disappeared for a short while, and her inhibitions would have lost. There is a distinct possibility that Amanda, though fraught with worry and anticipation of the consequences, might well have been acting ‘under the influence’ later on. (Who says I don’t go out of my way to provide excuses?). However, there is also the possibility that later she might have thought ‘I’ve done it. I’m screwed. So what the heck.’

Whoever jak*** is makes quite a decent remark. These people aren’t completely devoid of sympathy. ‘gotta be careful who u trust’

Then the odd statement from Amanda: ‘iim moving out of the counrty now’. What can we read into this? Were there plans to move? Did people know already that she was in trouble, and had made plans to move? It doesn’t look like it. There is no record of a move to another country, though it’s a possibility that there were people Amanda could have lived with. But I think this is a red herring. The police didn’t arrive until December 23rd. I think that Amanda might be doing one of two things: being a drama queen, or trying to put people off her track.

‘come to america’…..’lol no’

Then cra*** says: ‘well you are super hot’. It’s a shame. Those words would have acted like a spur for Amanda. Whatever she’s feeling – sad, conflicted, scared – the compliment of being ‘super hot’ would have kept her in the game. If only at this point someone had said ‘Get away while you still can!’. It’s sad.

So what do we know for certain after this conversation?

We can forget the whole predator/pedophile/stalker malarkey as described by her and the media. It is a complete fallacy. The idea that she was capped when she was 12 and so on is complete and utter rubbish. Just what precisely happened, I will go into at a later date. Amanda would have encountered various people in her adventures, and some of those would not have been nice.

It is almost impossible to know who first spread her photos, but we now know it was done close to this date. Again, there are several possible scenarios. I will begin with the most likely:

Amanda went online and flashed and did whatever she did for fun. A Capper capped her actions, put it on to cameracaptures (possibly the video where she was accompanied) and sent a link to people – it went around in an instant.

or…..the person who accompanied Amanda blabbed – either through boasting or simple stupidity – and it went from there.

or….it is possible that Amanda herself bragged about it, actually being the first person to send a photo of herself out to a friend (the one who appeared with her) and that was a big mistake

Personally, I think it was a mixture. I think she was capped, but I also think she or her friend, or both, let the cat out of the bag amongst her friends. There have been allegations that she was boastful about what she did. We know she had plenty of enemies (girls who hated her at school) and they would have been looking for every opportunity to take revenge. Add into that mixing pot the actions of teen boys and their habit of passing round nudie pics of people they know, and the whole thing is set for disaster. A tsunami of sorrow.

The tale of an innocent flash is also destroyed. Kids are relatively tolerant of flashing – most of them have done it, and it’s seen as no big deal. OK, it might be a weapon to be used in school arguments, but not a great one. But what kids won’t tolerate is boastfulness and showing off, and there are limits as to what is seen to be acceptable behaviour online. Amanda would have crossed a line by displaying to large audiences, and by masturbating (or even simply showing genitalia).

I was astounded by the remarks passed around about Amanda. It looked like the kids were pitiless. But a lot of what they said – clumsily – was close to the truth. Amanda brought a lot of this on herself. She walked, or even ran, into the disaster zone. There can be no ‘she was naive’ nonsense any more – we can see that the warnings were clear. She knew very much what she was doing, and it is likely that she would have been aware of the consequences, but she was just too wrapped up in it.

Had she not lied so much in her video, it might have been a different story. People might have sympathised more with someone who told the truth. The video was a desperate attempt to clear her name, and it didn’t work. In fact, the video may have even been the cause of her downfall – her friends and allies would have had their tolerance tested just that once too often, and become tired of the constant attention seeking.

A sad tale. But not finished yet. Twelve days later, Amanda was back online flashing. There is a possibility that by this time she had attracted even more attention, and therefore from worse types of viewer. But we know that the photos were out there. Her friends had found them.

I am not 100% sure what happened next. It takes a lot of thought to put the pieces together. What I am trying to say is this: Amanda, at this point, was not being blackmailed. She was not coerced, forced, tricked, whatever. Her photos, as she says, were already all over the city. She MAY have encountered a stalker later on, but I strongly doubt it. She was aware of what went on in the Capper world. And when the police turned up on December 23rd, she was quick enough to try to turn it into a story of blackmailing. That is just not true. Everything she did around now, she did of her own free will.

Thank you for reading this. Please leave comments. The story will continue tomorrow – there are many loose ends now!
